Transportation and Handling

Once IPAP has arranged for the specific grain to be purchased, identity preservation becomes paramount.

Delivery can be by bag, container, truck, barge, train or ship-- but no matter what the method, only strict attention to identity preservation will deliver what has been so carefully arranged.

IPAP thinks enough about identity preservation that we put it in our name:

Identity Preserved Agricultural Products, LLC.

Integrity from Field to Delivery

The photographs below show grain being transferred from a storage bin to the shipping container.

Matt Stokes checks in with the lab for GMO test results at the farm.   The storage bins have been tested prior to loading into containers for shipment.
The grain, in this case corn, is loaded directly from the storage bin into the container for shipping.   By minimizing handling, IPAP can ensure the highest quality product reaches the buyer.

On this site, a rotary screen is used during the transfer process to remove fines, broken kernels, and other impurities.

The containers are custody sealed on site to guarantee integrity from the farm to the buyer.  Here the farmer, Richard Cliff, shows the shipping seal as the full container is ready for transportation.  The grain has already been verified by an independent laboratory to meet the buyer's requirements

Matt checks on the shipping container as it passes through the scales.
